“Moga Mobo: Ukraine” at the international literature festival berlin 2023
On September 16, 2023 Ukrainian comic writer Zhenya Oliinyk and German publisher Titus Ackermann will talk about the special issue of the legendary comic magazine “Moga Mobo” about Ukraine.
The conversation will be moderated by translator and editor Lilian Pithan.

The legendary comics magazine “Moga Mobo” dedicated a special issue to comics from Ukraine in 2023. In this interview, Ukrainian comics author Zhenya Oliinyk and German publisher Titus Ackermann, editor of the issue, present the contributions. Most of the stories were written especially for the issue and tell of the artist:s experiences during the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, which began in 2014 with the occupation of Crimea.
The event will take place as part of the 13th Graphic Novel Day at the international literature festival berlin 2023.
