End-of-year concert and reception of the Ukrainian Institute in Germany

The Ukrainian Institute in Germany invites you to a special musical end-of-year event at Villa Elisabeth in Berlin on 3 December 2025. With this concert, we would like to create an inspiring evening with you to mark the end of the year.

The Ukrainian Institute in Germany extends its sincere thanks for your continued interest and support throughout the year. As a gesture of our appreciation, our annual year-end concert offers an opportunity to come together and explore the richness of Ukraine’s musical landscape. This diversity is reflected in works by Ukrainian composers of the 20th and 21st centuries, performed by soloists Kateryna Suprun and Kateryna-Sofiia Shyk, the “Mriya” Quartet, and the “Mriya” Orchestra.

  • Boris Lyatoshinsky – Preludes for solo piano
    Excerpts from the Shevchenko Suite, Op. 38, and five preludes, Op. 44 (Nos. I, IV, V)

  • Anthology of Ukrainian Chamber Music

    Yevhen Stankovych – Suite for String Quartet

  „Mriya“-Quartett: Olena Tsurkan, Viktor Ivanov, Andrii Makii, Maria                 Mohylevska

  • Zoltan Almashi – ‘The Seasons’ for viola and orchestra (world premiere)
    The work was created especially for the Ukrainian Institute in Germany and is dedicated to Kateryna Suprun.

Following the concert, we invite you to a reception that offers space for conversation and exchange with representatives from culture, politics and civil society.
