Babylon Europa: Cultural Showcase in Berlin Celebrates Europe’s Diversity and Identity
On May 31, Babylon Europa will kick off the open-air summer season on the covered stage of Berlin’s ufaFabrik. The cultural showcase will feature outstanding artists from twelve European countries and regions – including Ukraine – and is organized by EUNIC Berlin, the network of European cultural institutes.
Under the motto “European Voices in Motion,” BABYLON EUROPA 2025 will place the voice at the center of artistic exploration – as a carrier of cultural identity, personal history, and social perspective. The voice will be presented not only as sound, but as a means of expression, a tool, and a form of connection: as a musical instrument, a political gesture, or a poetic statement.
Audiences can look forward to a diverse stage program featuring jazz, classical music, electronic sounds, folk, performance, and spoken word. Artists from twelve European countries will perform, including Ukrainian singer and composer Ganna Gryniva, who will present her musical perspective on the theme of voice at 9:10 PM.

BABYLON EUROPA is a project by EUNIC Berlin and will be curated and produced by buero doering – Fachhandel für Ereignisse GmbH. The event will take place in cooperation with the Berlin Senate Chancellery and the Representation of the European Commission in Germany.
